At Albury Wodonga Kart Club, the home of the Pink Plate Event, we encourage all Girls and Women in karting. Our aim is to promote women in motorsport and spread the word that Girls Race Too! This sport thrives on inclusion, where your skills and determination are what matter most.
Karting is a great way for girls and women to experience the thrill of driving while enjoying the community and connection that come with it. More and more are choosing to start through social karting—a relaxed, non-competitive way to build confidence, learn new skills, and meet like-minded people. Whether you’re there for the laps or the laughs, karting offers a welcoming environment where you can go at your own pace and feel part of something exciting from day one.
Want to be part of a growing community of female drivers who share your passion and drive, supporting each other as you push the limits. Whether you want to race for fun or go all the way to the top, karting offers opportunities at every level, so you can take your abilities as far as you want to go. Interested? Contact our President Sheree Muller (0402 839 650 or awkcpresident@outlook.com) to discuss pathways to get involved that could work for you. Further information is also available on the Karting Australia Girls Race Too page.
