Black Plates and Twilight Racing: AWKC Members End Year on a High

AWKC members have been busy at the last few karting events for the year!

We had 7 AWKC members and their families take the 5+hr trip to the South West Kart Club at Cobden for the Victorian State Cup black plate event!

AWKC was well represented by Rory Edmunds (Cadet 9), Mila Cox (who had her first race up in Cadet 12), Blair Van Ree, Herman Van Ree, Zach Turner, Clint Kirley and Simon Williamson. There was plenty of action on track! Well done everyone!

Meanwhile, we had 5 AWKC members head into the beautiful Riverina to Griffith Kart Club for their final club race. Cas Thomas Matt Chaston Brock Waters, Nathan Saunders and Luci Thomaswere well hosted by GKC who put on a great feed and show under lights for twilight racing . The reverse track and a randomly allocated interclub team challenge made for a night of fun and laughs! Was great to have members from Wagga and District Kart Club over there too! Great racing!
