π AWKC members kick off 2026 in style! π
Our drivers have been out in force, racing alongside our regional clubs during the first competitive weekends of the year β and what a start itβs been!
π₯ Eastern Lions Kart Club hosted their first club race weekend, doubling as a GPS shakedown ahead of Round 1 this weekend. With 300+ drivers and nonstop action, it was a huge and hectic weekend on track!
π Congratulations to our AWKC participants:
Mila Cox β Cadet 12
Bas Casey β Junior Light
Cas Thomas β Junior Light
Zach Turner β KA3 Senior Light
Clint Kirley β 125 TAG Restricted Medium
Nathan Saunders β Vic Combined Masters
Herman Van Ree β Vic Combined Masters
Archie Thompson β 4SS Senior Heavy
Meanwhile, other AWKC members headed down to Numurkah to race with Goulburn Valley Kart Club, enjoying a more relaxed atmosphere β but with racing just as competitive!
π Well done to:
Mel Williamson – Vic Combined Medium
Hamish Mott – Cadet 12s
Mason Mott- Cadet 9s
Jarvis McDonald- Cadet 12s
We also had Arlo Hamilton venture out to the wild west of Wimmera, competing in Cadet 12s at their club day β great effort!
πΈ Got photos from your race weekend?
Send them through β weβd love to share your moments with the club!
π€ Thinking about racing at another track but not sure how to get started?
Send us a message or reach out for a chat β weβre always happy to help.
π₯ Coming up next:
After GPS Round 1, Griffith and Wagga are hosting their Hot Summer Nights race event next weekend β a fantastic chance to gain experience, race under lights, meet new people, and enjoy some relaxed but competitive racing. Hope to see you there! πποΈ
